Mr Jamel Bin Ibrahim was appointed to the Board on 13 June 2023 and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He also serves as a Chairman of Audit Committee, and is a member of Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Mr Jamel Ibrahim completed his ACCA qualification from University of Derbyshire and Emile Woolf College of Accountancy, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Mr Jamel Ibrahim started his career with accounting and moved on to the oil and gas, banking and energy industry. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, having served as the Corporate Finance Manager of Rakyat Merchant Bankers Berhad and the Chief Financial Officer of Scomi Berhad. He had also served as the Senior General Manager and held various key positions of Tenaga Nasional Berhad group.
